In any contemplative’s life, it’s natural to get lost down any of myriad thought paths.

To live the human experience is to question, to wonder. We consider our wants, needs and desires, their nature, and whether we can trust them.

We consider meaning and what it means to live a meaningful life! As we see the grief and suffering in the world, we feel deeply compelled to help, but often don’t know how. What is wise? What is kind?

Sometimes the effort we’ve made down a particular path of approach to a problem ends in a tangle of briers and we don’t know what to do next. We feel lost under a cloud-covered sky. Which way is north? These times are ripe for getting quiet and listening.

When you feel lost, take time to connect back to what you can feel is true.

What you know is true because you experience it. I’ve made this heart-centered meditation for you for just these situations. May you get found.
